- Browser Fingerprint: We generate an anonymous browser fingerprint using FingerprintJS to identify unique users. This fingerprint is used solely for usage tracking and rate limiting purposes.
- Usage Data: We track the number of times you use the batch generation feature per day to enforce fair usage limits (currently 5 generations per day).
Data You Provide
- CSV Files: The CSV files you upload are processed entirely in your browser. We do NOT upload, store, or transmit your CSV data to our servers.
- Design Data: Your Canva designs are processed locally in your browser. We do NOT access, store, or transmit your Canva design content to our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To enforce daily usage limits and prevent abuse
- To track anonymous usage statistics for improving the extension
Data Storage
- Local Storage: Your user ID and usage data are stored locally in your browser's storage.
- Remote Storage: Usage counts are synced to Supabase (our backend service) to maintain consistency across browser sessions. This data is linked only to your anonymous browser fingerprint.
Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. The only data transmitted to our servers is the anonymous usage count associated with your browser fingerprint.
Permissions
Canva Bulk Creator requires the following permissions:
- Storage: Used to store your user ID and usage data locally in the browser.
- Access to canva.com: Required to inject the content script into Canva design pages for batch processing functionality.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
- You can clear your local data at any time by removing the extension from your browser.
